Priority will be given as follows:

  2. Existing businesses looking to relocate within Tower Hamlets.
  3. Existing businesses wishing to locate in Tower Hamlets from outside the borough.
  4. Wherever possible, equal numbers of units will be allocated between men and women.

The concept

Located just off Brick Lane in Spitalfields and Banglatown, where the City of London meets the capital’s traditional East End, you will find the MICRO BUSINESS PARK.

Here, the community embraces the spirit of entrepreneurship but is often priced out of workspace and employment generating opportunities given the spiralling rental costs of space within the City’s new fringe. As a not for profit charity, the MICRO BUSINESS PARK is committed to harnessing local talent and helping people achieve their aspiration to start up and grow in business.

We do so by providing ‘affordable’ workspace units at subsidized rentals, beneath the City fringe market rate.

We prioritise applications for space from :

  • Local people who are resident in E1 and thereafter, the rest of Tower Hamlets.
  • New entrepreneurs who find it difficult to get a foothold in an area where workspace demand far exceeds supply.
  • Those with employ local policies.
